Charities

Mike feels it’s important to give back to the community in which you work and play. With that in mind, he participates in many charitable activities, as well as donating his time and money to worthwhile charities.

He sponsored 4 schools in the Holiday Canned Food Drive, picking up canned food to drop off at local pantries, who in turn distribute the food to needy seniors in our areas. He also organized, produced, promoted and emceed his own Charity Fashion Show, that generated food, clothing, toys and household items, that were distributed to needy families in our area. Mike absorbed all the costs, as nothing was charged for admission.

Through his membership and participation in the Association of Realtors, he has contributed to Habitat for Humanity, donations to our troops overseas, and he has helped to provide college scholarships to high school students.

He and his children have also participated 7 times in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure 5K races, benefiting breast cancer. He has sponsored many sports teams in the area on behalf of his children, and his clients’ children.

He has also sponsored many children pursuing their dreams - - dancers, beauty contest contestants, etc.

Mike also donates regularly to the American Heart Association.
